Yes it is true; the site that I love and spend many hours on instead of doing homework has done something I never thought possible.  Nasty Gal has disappointed me.

I am most definitely not one of those style gurus who girls typically take everyday fashion advice from , however I do know a thing or two about how to dress and in this case, how NOT to dress, which brings me to the point of today’s post.

I guess it is cool to wear sneaker wedges and enormously long spikes on your shoes these days, but I would like to know who said this is cool and exactly what influence they have on the fashion world.  Judging by the prices on Nasty Gal (a leading website in shoe trends for young women), it is best to mutate both trends together.  Ladies, just because something is supposed to be on trend DOES NOT mean you should follow it.  Exhibit A, B, and C.

Not only do I think these are ridiculous trends, but these are ridiculous trends with extremely ridiculous prices.  As you are concocting your next outfit for a night out on the town, please don’t spend your money on these “trends”.  If you are going to splurge, go for one of Nasty Gal’s more classy kicks. 

This is a bit of advice from yours truly to you.
But then again, what do I really know about fashion…right?
