All this week my friend Anissa Galindo  and I talked about the different possibilities of cutting shirts up.  Most DIY girls know that the first thing about cutting a T is getting a shirt that you don’t really care about to practice on until you get a steady “cutting” hand.

Luckily for me, my dear brother is growing and has grown out of his clothes.  Hand me downs don’t always have to come from your sister, you know.  

ANNYWAYYYSS.  I took one of his shirts to practice on and ended up really liking it, so now, it’s a staple in my everyday wardrobe.  

It’s prompted me to begin a segment of my blog that I’m going to call Saturday Styles in which I break down my favorite outfit from the week on this here tumblr.

Hope you enjoy them, and I promise the photoshopping and descriptions will get better as I post more of these.
