The wonderful country of Australia is noted for many things and in my humble opinion is one of the best countries on the planet.  It’s given birth to Olympic swimmers, the world’s best surfers, some of the funniest people I’ve ever met as well as the HOTTEST people I’ve ever met and seen.  It even excels in some areas I cover on this blog like music (Tame Impala is currently my favorite band) and women’s fashion, but where Australia doesn’t complete the hat trick is with their men’s fashion which was recently showcased on the Australian Fashion Review Blog.  I’m sorry, but no matter how hot their male models may be, I don’t see these looks making it into the pages of GQ anytime soon.

Don’t get me wrong, there are some cool looks:

But just look at Ron Weasley or Mr. Floppy hat and short shorts from up above and tell me you aren’t laughing your ass off.  I guess it’s not actually the pieces themselves, but how they are styled.  

 Overall, my personal favorite is the classic OZ style.  Tailored Slacks, Polo shirt, and a pair of slippers on a super hot model gets my vote everytime.

Really, who am I to say what’s cool and what’s not in men’s fashion.  For one, I am not a man (I just checked for safe measure) and I don’t have a fashion degree or study fashion in school, but there are some things that I can’t let slide.

My last few fashion posts have been more like harsh criticisms, so thanks for listening to me rant and I hope I have something more positive for you guys in the near future.  Until then, stay stylin’ my tumblr friends and have a happy Tuesday.
